Frequently asked questions
- Who is Super Regular for?
Super Regular can be taken by anyone who experiences PMS or PMDD symptoms. Whether you're looking to ease mood swings, reduce breast tenderness, feel less anxious, boost sleep quality and energy levels, or improve overall wellbeing, Super Regular is perfect for you. If you're breastfeeding, being treated for any medical condition, or taking medication, please consult your GP before adding Super Regular to your diet. Not suitable for people who are pregnant.
- How do I take Super Regular?
Super Regular can be taken at any time of the day. We recommend taking the supplements at the same time, ideally just before your first meal of the day. If you experience a little tummy upset, take the supplements after your meal.
Take one Rhythm capsule every day.
Take three Restore capsules every day.
Revive should be taken daily during the final ten days of your cycle. Mix 25g of Revive with 400 ml of water then shake (or stir) until dissolved. - How long will it take to see results from taking it?
Some ingredients will have an instant mood-boosting effect (eg, L-tryptophan). However, most supplements take approximately two to three months to take effect. This is because many nutrients need time to build up in the body before they can do a particular job.
- Does Super Regular supplement contain artificial sweeteners, colours, or preservatives?
All ingredients in Super Regular are from natural sources. Revive contains small amounts of the natural sweetener Stevia, which is low FODMAP, meaning it's suitable for people with IBS and other gut issues. The colour of each product is a result of the natural colour of its components, eg, beetroot, chlorella, spirulina, and evening primrose oil, all of which are naturally colourful.
- Is Super Regular safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?
We recommend that breastfeeding women speak to their GP before adding Super Regular to their diet. It is not suitable for people who are pregnant as evening primrose oil can cause the cervix to soften.
- Will Super Regular interact with hormonal contraceptives?
Nope. When we designed Super Regular we ensured that it wouldn't interfere with your natural cycle or hormonal contraception. It doesn't change hormone levels or the nature of your cycle. Instead, it combats the negative, knock-on effects caused by fluctuating hormones. Super Regular is hormone-free.
- Can I take it if I have a pre-existing medical condition?
If you are taking medication, or have a pre-existing medical condition, please consult your GP before adding Super Regular to your diet.
- How does the subscription work?
Regardless of your subscription type, you will receive 30 days' worth of supplements each month. The 'frequency' of your subscription impacts the billing cycle, not delivery. If you have chosen a monthly subscription, you will be billed every month. If you have chosen a three-month subscription, you will be billed once every three months.
- Is Super Regular suitable for vegans/vegetarians?
Yes. All ingredients are vegan, including probiotic strains which are grown on vegan-certified algae cultures.
- Should it be taken with or without food?
You can take your supplements at any time of the day. However, we highly recommend incorporating them into your morning routine, as absorption will be at its highest on an empty stomach.
- Is it suitable for women with specific health conditions (e.g., PCOS, endometriosis)?
Lots of female health conditions linked to hormones have a knock-on effect on PMS and PMDD, and vice versa. By balancing and smoothing the underlying systems that cause these symptoms, Super Regular may also ease symptoms of other conditions. If you're currently taking supplements, it’s important to ensure you’re not taking too much of each vitamin or mineral. Better yet, Super Regular might be able to replace multiple different supplements from other brands.
- Can it help with specific women's health issues, such as menstrual irregularities or menopausal symptoms?
Super Regular is not designed to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any illness or disease. Super Regular may help alleviate symptoms of different conditions that are similar to those experienced during PMS or PMDD such as anxiety, low mood, pain, and breast tenderness caused by hormonal fluctuations.
- Why don't you include Ashwagandha?
Ashwagandha can cause uterine contractions. Therefore, this ingredient is not suitable for people trying to conceive or who are pregnant. We recognise that many people in our community may be in this position, therefore we don't include it in our formulation.
- Why don't you include St John's Wort?
St John's Wort is not suitable for people taking antidepressants or those on hormonal contraception. We recognise that many of our community will be taking one or both of these, so we have not included St John's Wort in our formulation. Instead, mood-boosting ingredients such as vitamin D, calcium, magnesium, chasteberry, omega-3, EPO, and L-Tryptophan have been included.
- Why don't you include Dong quai?
Although it's included in many female health supplements, there is very little evidence to support the effectiveness of dong quai in easing PMS and PMDD symptoms. Because every ingredient in Super Regular has been scientifically proven to ease PMS or PMDD symptoms, we don't include dong quai in our formula.
- Are there any specific storage requirements?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children. It's so much easier to remember to take supplements when they're stored somewhere they can be easily seen. So, why not put them on a shelf, or your bedside dresser (don't hide them away in a cupboard!).
- Is it free from major allergens?
Super Regular is major allergen free. The supplement is produced in a factory that does not handle major allergens.
